Due to my trust in the FOREX.com platform, I made a one-time deposit of 22,254 Chinese Yuan on January 19, 2025. During the trading process, FOREX.com customer service only repeatedly informed me that the platform would execute forced liquidation when the account margin level fell below 100%. However, they never alerted me to the fact that forced liquidation might not be triggered even when the margin falls below 100%, and that customer losses could far exceed the principal, leading to a negative account balance. On February 2, 2025, after the gold market opened, an account of mine holding a long position of over two thousand dollars was instantly wiped out, and a negative balance of over $19,000 was generated in the account. According to FOREX.com's previous explanation that 'forced liquidation occurs when margin falls below 100%', my principal should have remained with at least around $1,800. But in reality, the platform not only caused me to lose all my principal but also left me saddled with over $19,000 in debt. Afterwards, I communicated multiple times with FOREX.com, and their stance changed repeatedly: initially stating that 'the customer could apply to have this account's negative balance zeroed out', then later retracting that and saying they 'do not agree to zero out this account's negative balance', and finally demanding that I personally fund the repayment of the over $19,000 debt. Even more egregiously, without prior notice or subsequent notification, FOREX.com unilaterally transferred a total of $5,659.83 from my three other accounts to cover the negative balance in this account. This resulted in my principal and profits on the FOREX.com platform being reduced to zero. I sent emails inquiring about this matter, and they promised twice to reply within two business days, but to this day, they have not fulfilled these promises. During this period, after I indicated my intention to file a complaint through their customer service channels in China, that customer service phone number was subsequently hidden. FOREX.com's aforementioned actions demonstrate a lack of transparency in their processes, non-standard handling, and a lack of integrity in communication. I hereby remind all fellow forex traders to be vigilant, pay attention to fund safety, and choose trading platforms carefully.
