ContentsHow to Read This XM Review
People who search XM review or review XM may find one simple answer. The evidence is not simple. Local permission, overseas regulation, product risk, and a website score answer different questions.
This article gives the RBI evidence first. It then checks XM's own regulation and risk pages. WikiFX appears last as dated third-party context.
- Start with the rule for an Indian resident.
- Identify the exact company named in the account agreement.
- Use the official domain before opening any login page.
- Treat leverage, bonuses, and easy access as risk questions, not trust signals.
XM Broker: What the RBI Alert List Says
For the search terms XM broker and broker XM, the strongest local fact is clear. RBI lists XM at Row 33. The page says listed entities are neither authorised persons for forex under FEMA nor authorised forex ETPs.
The list is not a finding that every service or group company is fraudulent. It is also not exhaustive. Its direct meaning is about Indian forex authorisation, so that is how it should be used.

What RBI Rules Mean for an Indian Resident
RBI's forex FAQ says residents may transact only with authorised persons and for permitted purposes. Online forex transactions must use an RBI-authorised ETP or a recognised exchange under the stated rules.
The same FAQ says an Indian resident cannot use LRS to send margin or meet a margin call at an overseas exchange or counterparty. This point matters because a smooth deposit screen does not show whether the remittance is permitted.

XM Regulation: Overseas Records Do Not Replace RBI Permission
The XM regulation page says XM Global Limited is regulated by the Financial Services Commission of Belize under licence number 8557558. Its risk notice says the services involve significant risk and may cause loss of invested capital.
That information may help identify an overseas company. It does not answer whether the platform is authorised by RBI. It also does not prove which XM company would sign a specific user's agreement.
For an XM regulation or regulation XM search, read the agreement before funding. Match the legal company, address, regulator, licence number, complaint route, and governing law. A group logo is not enough.
RBI's Warning Explains the Wider Harm
RBI warned in February 2022 about misleading adverts for unauthorised forex ETPs. It mentioned social media, search engines, apps, agents, and promises of very high returns.
The warning is general. It is not an XM-specific fraud ruling. Its value is practical: Indian residents should not treat an advert, influencer, or easy payment route as proof of authorisation.

XM Login: Verify the Route Before Entering Details
For XM login or login XM, start by typing www.xm.com yourself. Do not use a link from a stranger, a Telegram group, or an advert that promises a bonus.
- Check the full address and the secure connection.
- Read the legal company name shown before account creation.
- Do not share a password, PIN, OTP, or remote access.
- Do not send money to a personal bank account or unknown wallet.
- If the page moves to another domain, stop and verify it from the main site.
XM Forex: Product Access is Not the Same as Legal Access
An XM Forex or Forex XM page may show currencies, gold, indices, and CFDs. These products can move fast. Leverage makes both gains and losses larger.
Before any trade, read spread, commission, swap, margin, stop-out, contract size, slippage, and order rules. Ask how prices are formed. Also ask what happens when the market gaps.
| Risk check: A demo account can teach the screen. It cannot prove live execution, withdrawal speed, or a permitted payment route for an Indian resident. |

A Decision Checklist Before Any Deposit
Conclusion
XM has a large online profile and publishes overseas regulation information. For an Indian resident, the RBI fact comes first: XM and www.xm.com are on the current Alert List checked for this article.
Do not turn that fact into a wider claim than the evidence supports. Use it to avoid an unauthorised forex route. Check the contract entity, payment path, fees, and risk before making any decision.
