easyMarkets Expands Commodity Trading With 24 Hour Gold, Silver and Oil Access
Abstract:Online trading platform easyMarkets has expanded its multi asset offering with the launch of Gold24, Silver24 and Oil24, allowing clients to trade gold, silver and crude oil CFDs around the clock, seven days a week.
Online trading platform easyMarkets has expanded its multi asset offering with the launch of Gold24, Silver24 and Oil24, allowing clients to trade gold, silver and crude oil CFDs around the clock, seven days a week.
The broker said gold and oil have consistently been among its most actively traded commodities. During the second quarter of 2026, gold ranked as the most traded commodity on the platform, followed by crude oil.
Market volatility also increased during the quarter as rising geopolitical tensions in the Middle East triggered sharp moves across energy markets, contributing to stronger trading activity in crude oil.
The launch reflects a broader shift in commodity markets, where major price movements are no longer limited to traditional trading hours. Geopolitical developments, economic data and changes in global energy supply and demand can trigger significant market moves at any time.
By extending trading hours, easyMarkets said clients can monitor markets and adjust their positions when major developments occur, rather than waiting for conventional market sessions to reopen.
Giannis Nikola, risk manager at easyMarkets, said markets could continue moving even after traditional trading sessions had ended. He added that longer trading hours for gold, silver and oil give traders greater flexibility when markets move unexpectedly, while also making effective risk management more important.
Gold24, Silver24 and Oil24 are available through the broker's web platform, mobile application and TradingView. Clients can also use the platform's existing trading and risk management tools alongside the new products.
The expansion comes as demand for flexible access to major commodities continues to grow. For traders, however, 24 hour access also means greater exposure to sudden price movements, particularly during geopolitical events or periods of thin liquidity.
While extended trading hours can provide more opportunities to respond to market developments, they can also encourage traders to remain exposed to volatile markets for longer periods. Proper position sizing and risk controls therefore remain important when trading leveraged commodity CFDs.
Conducting due diligence before trading with any broker is crucial, and independent verification tools such as WikiFX can be instrumental in assessing the legitimacy of brokers and investment firms. The WikiFX mobile application, available on Google Play and the App Store, provides comprehensive insights into brokers regulatory status, customer reviews, and safety ratings. By leveraging such resources, investors can make informed decisions and avoid the financial devastation caused by fraudulent schemes.
