In a financial industry shaped by technology, regulation and changing client expectations, building a global financial brand requires more than international expansion. It requires a long-term approach built around innovation, trust, client protection and responsible growth.
In an exclusive media interview with All Around Worlds, Konstantinos A. Theodorou, CEO & Executive Director of FISG (InterStellar Group), shared insights into the group's international development, technology, regulatory framework and long-term vision for global financial markets.
From Europe to a Global Presence
Founded in Europe in 2011, FISG has grown into an international CFD brokerage group with operations across four continents and a presence in financial centres including Cyprus, Singapore and Australia. Today, the group serves more than 110,000 retail and institutional traders worldwide.
Its international strategy focuses on creating a connected trading environment supported by technology, compliance and service quality. Rather than simply entering new markets, FISG aims to build a financial ecosystem capable of adapting to changing market conditions and client expectations.
A Vision Built for Generations
An important part of FISG's global brand development is its partnership with legendary football midfielder Andrés Iniesta, who serves as the group's Global Ambassador.
The partnership reflects values shared by elite sport and financial markets, including discipline, precision, consistency and performance, while strengthening FISG's international brand identity.
At the same time, FISG has set an ambitious long-term goal: becoming the industry's first century-old trading brand. Achieving this requires continuous adaptation to new technologies, regulations, market structures and client needs. Investment in technology, education and compliance therefore remains central to the group's strategy.
Regulation and Client Protection
FISG operates within a quad-regulatory framework, with regulatory authorisations associated with:
ASIC — Rep. 001312025
CySEC — License 166/12
FSCA, South Africa — License 52343
Seychelles FSA — License SD127
The group considers regulatory responsibility and governance essential to sustainable international growth.
Client protection is another key priority. FISG implements segregated client accounts and operational measures designed to maintain the security and independence of client assets. These are complemented by insurance coverage underwritten by Lloyd's of London.
Technology and Trading Infrastructure
Technology is at the centre of FISG's trading infrastructure.
Its proprietary Alpha Accelerator applies optimisation across infrastructure and algorithms, targeting microsecond-level order processing and high-precision, sub-millisecond execution.
Liquidity infrastructure is supported through cooperation with seven top-tier international banks, while the group's No Dealing Desk (NDD) model is designed to support professional order matching and requote-free execution.
Traders can access MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5 through web, desktop and mobile environments.
A Multi-Asset Trading Ecosystem
FISG provides access to six major CFD asset classes: Forex, Commodities, Precious Metals, Global Indices, Shares and Cryptocurrencies.
The group serves different types of market participants, from newer traders and experienced professionals to institutional clients. In eligible jurisdictions, leverage of up to 1:2000 is available, subject to applicable regulatory requirements and local conditions.
Beyond traditional trading, FISG offers solutions including CopyTrade, PAMM and MAM, supporting different trading and asset-management needs.
Education and the Future
FISG also places education at the centre of its long-term approach. Through initiatives including FISG Protalk, FISG Weekly, FISG Webinar, FISG Academy and Trading Tips, the company provides market insights and educational resources designed to encourage more informed participation in financial markets.
As technology continues to transform trading and regulatory expectations evolve, clients increasingly look for more than market access. Transparency, protection, reliable infrastructure, education and technological capability are becoming equally important.
FISG's strategy brings these elements together with a long-term objective: building an institution capable of adapting to future markets and remaining relevant across generations.
For Konstantinos A. Theodorou and FISG, the ambition extends beyond building a successful trading company today. It is about creating a financial brand designed to last.
