Purpose

The Turkish foreign exchange market is an emerging foreign exchange market that has developed in recent years. With the continuous development of the Turkish economy and the gradual opening of the financial market, foreign exchange trading occupies an important position in the country's financial sector. To help investors or practitioners gain a more comprehensive understanding of foreign exchange brokers in this region, the on-site inspection team traveled to Turkey for a field visit.

Process

The on-site inspection team of this issue went to Turkey as planned to visit the forex broker Troy. According to public information, its office address is Yeşilköy Mah. Atatürk Cad. NO:10/2 İstanbul Dünya Ticaret Merkezi (IDTM) A3 Blok K:4/193 Yeşilköy 34149 Bakırköy / İstanbul - Türkiye.

A professional and experienced on-site inspection team, driven by a sense of mission to rigorously safeguard investors' interests, traveled to Turkey according to a well-planned schedule. Based on the aforementioned information, they conducted an on-site visit to the dealer Troy.

The field investigator proceeded to the target area based on the address information and conducted an on-site verification of the dealer Troy who claimed to be located at the aforementioned address.

The field survey personnel successfully arrived at the target building, which is located in the Yeşilköy area. The surrounding environment was supposed to have a certain commercial atmosphere, but this field survey found no signs of a campus or street environment related to the company. A panoramic view of the building's exterior could be captured, but no signs or related information of the company were found outside the building.

The inspection personnel entered the building lobby and, after explaining their purpose to the security guard, obtained permission to enter. However, they did not find the nameplate of the company Troy inside the building.

The field surveyor was able to reach the target floor, the 4th floor, but upon arrival, it was discovered that there were no obvious signs of the Troy company's office area on this floor. Since the company does not exist here, the field surveyor could not enter the interior, nor could they take photos of the reception area and its logo. Additionally, this office area is not a shared workspace.

Through the public areas of the floor, the inspector naturally could not observe the internal environment of the company and other situations. Upon arrival, it was found that there was no information about this company here. After inquiring at the front desk, it was informed that there was no such company, thus it was concluded that the company's address was false.

Therefore, after the on-site inspection, it was confirmed that the dealer Troy does not exist at the aforementioned address.

Conclusion

The on-site investigator went to Turkey as planned to visit the forex broker Troy. At the publicly displayed business address, the company name and other information of the broker were not visible, indicating that the broker does not have a genuine business location. Investors are advised to make their choice after comprehensive consideration.
