Process

The on-site inspection team visited the forex broker SGL in Hong Kong, China as scheduled. According to public information, its office address is "UNIT 501 - 502, 5/F, HANFORD COMMERCIAL CENTRE, 221 B - E TATHAN ROAD, JORDAN, KOWLOON, HONG KONG".

A professional and experienced on-site inspection team, driven by a sense of mission to strictly vet for investors, proceeded to the target area in Hong Kong, China, according to a well-planned schedule, to conduct a physical verification of the broker SGL claiming to be located at the aforementioned address.

The inspectors successfully arrived at Hanford Commercial Centre, located at 221B - E Nathan Road, Jordan, Kowloon. The surrounding streets are relatively bustling with a strong commercial atmosphere. However, no signage or relevant information for the company SGL was found on the exterior of the building.

The inspectors entered the building lobby and, after stating their purpose to the security guard, successfully obtained permission to enter.

Upon reaching the target floor, the 5th floor, the inspectors found that the directory board listed information for other companies at this address, with no clear signage indicating the office area of company SGL. As there were no signs of the broker's office on this floor, they were unable to enter the interior and could not photograph the reception area of SGL. Furthermore, this floor was not a shared office space.

Through the floor corridor, the inspectors observed clothing stores and other companies on the floor, but did not see the office area of company SGL. The overall situation did not match its claimed positioning.

Therefore, after the on-site inspection, it was confirmed that broker SGL does not exist at the aforementioned address.

Conclusion

The on-site inspector visited the forex broker SGL in Hong Kong, China as planned. At its publicly displayed business address, the inspector could not find any information such as the company name of the broker, indicating that the broker does not have a genuine business premises. Investors are advised to make their choices after comprehensive consideration.
