Reasons for Field Survey

Leveraging its strengths in tourism and international trade, Thailand's foreign exchange market has steadily grown, becoming a vital component of Southeast Asia's financial landscape and attracting numerous international financial institutions. To help investors accurately understand the actual performance of brokers in the region and mitigate the risks associated with information bias, a field research team conducted a field visit to Bangkok, Thailand.

Field Survey Process

This time, the field research team visited AFFX as planned. Its publicly listed office address is 6148 Klongtoey Nua, Wattana, Bangkok 10110, Thailand.

When analyzing the address information, the field research team discovered significant omissions. The address only included the area, house number, and postal code, without specifying the specific street name, building name, or floor. This constitutes an “”incomplete address,“” significantly hindering accurate location. After entering the address into navigation software, the field research team was only able to locate the general area of Klongtoey Nua, Wattana, and was unable to pinpoint the specific building or office location.

After arriving at the target area indicated by the navigation system, the surveyors conducted a comprehensive inspection of the surrounding area and found that it was primarily composed of ordinary residences and small shops, with no large-scale office buildings. No clear address signs with “”No. 6148“” were found. Due to the lack of a recognizable office building, the “”company campus and street environment“” were recorded as “”non-existent“” based on the actual scene, and no “”building panorama“” consistent with an “”office building“” could be captured.

Due to the vague address and the lack of a clear office building, the surveyors were unable to locate an accessible “”building lobby“” or any office signs such as “”building signs“” or “”company logos“” for verification. They were unable to reach specific floors and confirm office locations, let alone enter the “”company interior“” to photograph the reception desk and logo. It was confirmed that there was no shared office space in the area. Office-related information such as “”company internal office environment,“” “”number of rooms,“” and “”number of workstations“” could not be verified due to the lack of a corresponding office space.

Thus, the survey confirmed that the broker AFFX did not exist at the aforementioned address.

Field Survey Summary

The surveyors visited the AFFX as planned. They could not find the broker's company name and other information at its publicly displayed business place, indicating that the broker does not have a real business location. Investors are advised to consider this information comprehensively before making decisions.
