Inspection Reason

The inspection team continued its survey campaign to check the authenticity within the forex brokerage industry. For this session, The inspection team comes to Auckland to visit a broker named MC. 

Office 

According to the address in its regulation details, the New Zealand broker MC had its office at Unit 2, Level 1, 55 Barrys Point Road, Takapuna Auckland. The inspection team sent its survey team to this place for a field survey. 

After much effort, the surveyors finally found a two-story building as indicated by the address.

Through the glass, the surveyors could find both shop fronts and office rooms in the building. The surveyors then entered the building and searched around, but failed to find the office of MC’s.

Conclusion

A field investigation according to the address it provided did not find MC’s office in New Zealand. The company claims to hold an AA-type license from the Hong Kong CGSE, a full license from the Cyprus CySEC, an EU authorized representative license from the UK FCA and a Financial Services Provider license from the New Zealand FSPR. But the authenticity of these licenses needs to be further verified.
