Purpose

The UK foreign exchange market is a long-established and highly developed international forex market. Since the formation of modern financial systems, it has been renowned for its mature regulatory system, wide variety of trading products, and massive trading volume. To help investors or practitioners gain a more comprehensive understanding of forex brokers in this region, the on-site inspection team conducted a field visit to the UK.

Process

This time, the on-site inspection team plans to visit the UK to inspect forex broker Global Trade Assets in person. According to public information, its office address is 115 Gazette Buildings, 168 Corporation Street, Birmingham, West Midlands, United Kingdom, B4 6TF.

The inspectors arrived smoothly at the target building, which is located in a bustling area of Birmingham, UK, with a relatively lively surrounding environment and a strong commercial atmosphere. However, no sign of the company or any related information was found on the outside of the building.

The inspectors entered the building lobby and stated their purpose to the security guard. After a brief conversation, they were granted permission to enter.

But inside the building, no company nameplate was found, nor any LOGO related to Global Trade Assets. As they could not determine the specific floor and location, the inspectors were unable to reach the target floor.

The attempt to reach the target floor failed, and naturally there were no obvious signs or security measures for the company's office area. Because they could not find the specific location at all, the inspectors could not enter the interior, nor could they photograph the front desk and its LOGO. The office is not a shared office.

Through the building's public areas, the inspectors naturally could not observe the company's internal environment, decoration style, or employee activities. Upon arrival, they confirmed the address, but found no information about the broker. When asked, the security guard said that no such company existed. Overall, the situation does not match the company's claim of having an office address.

Therefore, after the inspection, it was confirmed that the broker Global Trade Assets does not exist at the aforementioned address.

Conclusion

The due diligence team went to the UK as planned to visit forex broker Global Trade Assets in person, but did not see the company name or other information of this broker at its publicly displayed business address, indicating that the broker does not have a real business premises. Investors are advised to make their decision after comprehensive consideration.
