Recently many investors called the inspection team hoping we could disclose more Australian brokers with fake addresses. According to investors’ feedback, the investigation team were going to visit DV Markets in this episode.

Building Survey

According to the regulatory information, the company address of IDV Markets is 08 Tower 1' Level 23 Suite 23, 100 Barangaroo Avenue, Sydney NSW 2000. The investigation staff visited the spot.

The investigation staff smoothly found this landmark office building close to Darling Harbour.

Exclusive

The investigation staff then walked into the office building. After scrutinizing the floor guide in the lobby, the staff did not found any information about the broker.

Since no listing on the floor guide does not always connote the broker is nonexistent, in order to ensure the quality of the investigation, the staff took the elevator to the 23rd floor. After wandering for a while, the staff found neither DV Markets’ logo nor its office. 

Survey Conclusion

It is ascertained by the investigation staff that the address of DV Markets is inconsistent with that from the regulatory information. The broker’s alleged ASIC MM License(No.323193) is suspected to be a cloned license.
