Reasons for Field Survey

The Turkish foreign exchange market is an emerging foreign exchange market that has developed in recent years. With the continuous development of the Turkish economy and the gradual opening of the financial market, foreign exchange trading has become increasingly active in the region. To help investors or practitioners gain a more comprehensive understanding of foreign exchange brokers in the area, the on-site inspection team visited Turkey for a field visit.

Field Survey Process

The on-site inspection team of this issue went to Turkey as planned to visit the forex broker LCM. According to public information, its office address is Maslak Mahallesi, Sümer Sokak, Ayazağa Ticaret Merkezi, No:3/14, Şişli, Sarıyer, İstanbul. 

A professional and experienced on-site inspection team, driven by a sense of mission to strictly safeguard investors' interests, traveled to Turkey according to a well-planned schedule. Based on the aforementioned information, they conducted an on-site visit to the dealer LCM.

The field investigator proceeded to the target area based on the address information to conduct an on-site verification of the dealer LCM claimed to be located at Maslak Mahallesi, Sümer Sokak, Ayazağa Ticaret Merkezi, No:3/14, Şişli, Sarıyer, İstanbul.

The field survey personnel successfully arrived at Ayazağa Ticaret Merkezi, which is located at Maslak Mahallesi, Sümer Sokak. There are no signs of the company's related campus or street environment in the surrounding area. No company logo or related information was found on the exterior of the building.

The inspection personnel entered the building lobby, informed the security or staff of their purpose, and after communication, obtained permission to enter. However, the company's directory board was not found inside the building.

Due to the inability to determine the specific floor and location, the on-site inspectors were unable to reach the target floor to confirm the office area of LCM. Since there were no obvious signs of the company, they could not enter the interior, nor could they take photos of the reception desk and its logo. Additionally, the office is not a shared workspace.

Through the public areas of the building, as it was not possible to enter the company's interior, the internal environment of the company could not be observed. Overall, upon arrival, no information about the company was seen, leading to the judgment that the company's office address is false.

Therefore, after the on-site inspection, it was confirmed that the dealer LCM does not exist at the aforementioned address.

Field Survey Summary

The on-site investigator went to Turkey as planned to visit the forex broker LCM. At the publicly displayed business address, no information such as the company name of the broker was seen, indicating that the broker does not have a genuine business premises. Investors are advised to make their choice after comprehensive consideration.
