CityIndex Singapore Verified: No Physical Presence Found

Purpose
The Singapore foreign exchange market is an emerging forex market that developed in the 1970s. Due to its advantageous geographical location and financial policies, it has gradually become one of Asia's important forex trading centers. To help investors or practitioners gain a more comprehensive understanding of forex brokers in this region, an on-site inspection team conducted field visits in Singapore.
Process
The on-site inspection team proceeded to Singapore as planned to visit the forex broker CityIndex. According to publicly available information, its office address is 1 Raffles Place, #12 - 62 One Raffles Place – Tower 2 Singapore 048616.
A professional and experienced on-site inspection team, driven by a sense of mission to rigorously safeguard investors' interests, traveled to Singapore following a meticulous plan. Based on the aforementioned information, they conducted an on-site visit to the dealer CityIndex.
The field investigator proceeded to the target area based on the address information to conduct an on-site verification of the dealer CityIndex, which is claimed to be located at 1 Raffles Place, #12 - 62 One Raffles Place – Tower 2 Singapore 048616.
The field investigator successfully arrived at the target building, which is located in the most bustling area of Singapore, surrounded by a vibrant environment and a strong commercial atmosphere. However, no company signage or related information for CityIndex was found on the exterior of the building.
The survey personnel entered the building lobby and stated their purpose to the security guard. After communication, they obtained permission to enter the building.
Due to the inability to access the specific floor, it was not possible to confirm the exact location of CityIndex in the building, nor were there any obvious signs or security measures observed in the company's office area. Since the corresponding floor could not be reached, the field investigator was unable to enter the premises, take photos of the reception area or its logo, and the office space was not a shared workspace.
Through the public areas of the building, although it is not possible to see the internal situation of CityIndex, based on actual observations, the address corresponds to another company in Singapore's most bustling office district. Therefore, after on-site verification, it is confirmed that the broker CityIndex does not exist at the aforementioned address.
Conclusion
The on-site investigator visited the forex broker CityIndex in Singapore as planned. At the publicly displayed business address, no information such as the company name of the broker could be found, indicating that the broker does not have a genuine business premises. Investors are advised to make their choices after comprehensive consideration.
