Purpose

The Turkish foreign exchange market is an emerging foreign exchange market that has developed in recent years. Its foreign exchange trading activity has been continuously increasing, gradually occupying a certain position in the international financial market. To help investors or practitioners gain a more comprehensive understanding of foreign exchange brokers in this region, the on-site inspection team visited Turkey for a field investigation.

Process

The on-site inspection team of this issue went to Turkey as planned to visit the forex broker Bostonmex. According to public information, its office address is Maslak Mahallesi, Sümer Sokak, Ayazağa Ticaret Merkezi, No:3/14, Şişli, Sarıyer, İstanbul. 

A professional and experienced on-site inspection team, driven by a sense of mission to strictly scrutinize for investors, headed to Turkey according to a well-planned schedule. Based on the aforementioned information, they conducted an on-site visit to the dealer Bostonmex.

The field investigator proceeded to the target area based on the address information to conduct an on-site verification of the dealer Bostonmex claimed to be located at Maslak Mahallesi, Sümer Sokak, Ayazağa Ticaret Merkezi, No:3/14, Şişli, Sarıyer, İstanbul.

The field survey personnel successfully arrived at the target building, which is located in a specific area of Istanbul, Turkey. The surrounding environment cannot be accurately described due to the absence of the company. No signs or relevant information of the company were found on the exterior of the building.

The site inspector entered the building lobby, explained the purpose of the visit to the security personnel, and after communication, obtained permission to enter.

Since no company directory was found inside the building, it was impossible to determine the specific floor, and thus, we could not reach the target floor to confirm the office area of Bostonmex. There were also no obvious signs or security measures indicating the company's office area. As the exact location could not be determined, naturally, we could not enter the interior, nor could we photograph the reception desk and its logo. Additionally, this office is not a shared workspace.

Upon arrival, the company was not found, and it was judged to be fake. Through external observation, it was also impossible to ascertain the internal environment of the company. The overall situation did not match its claimed positioning.

Therefore, after on-site verification, it is confirmed that the dealer Bostonmex does not exist at the aforementioned address.

Conclusion

The on-site investigators went to Turkey as planned to visit the forex broker Bostonmex. At the publicly displayed business address, they were unable to see any information such as the company name of the broker, indicating that the broker does not have a genuine business location. Investors are advised to make their choice after comprehensive consideration.
