Reason for this visit

Foreign exchange market is the worlds largest financial market, with daily trading volume hitting trillions of dollars. The major forex trading centers are London, New York, Tokyo, Singapore, etc., and USD is the most traded currency. In recent years, the emerging foreign exchange brokers are attracting more investors and institutions to the market, especially the highly developed, liquid US forex market with a slew of participants. In order to help investors or practitioners have a more comprehensive understanding of foreign exchange brokers in the US, WikiFX survey team is going to the country for on-site visits to the local companies.

On-site visit

In this issue, the survey team went to the US to visit forex broker JonesTrading as planned according to its regulatory address that 32133 Lindero Canyon Road, Suite 208, Westlake Village, CA 91361.

The investigators came to 32133 Lindero Canyon Road in Westlake Village on the outskirts of Los Angeles, California on October 3, 2023. The Landing, a low-rise building made of wood, was situated in a commercial park.

After arriving at the building, the survey personnel found two insurance companies on the building directory. However, the suite 208 was vacant without any information regarding company JonesTrading.

Through an on-site investigation, it is confirmed that the company doesnt have a presence at the location.

Conclusion

The survey team went to Denver, the US to visit forex broker JonesTrading, but didn‘t find the company at its regulatory address. This suggests that it doesn’t have a physical business office at the place. Therefore, investors are advised to make a sensible decision based on a comprehensive consideration.
