Reasons for Field Survey

The Belarusian foreign exchange market is a vital component of Eastern Europe's financial landscape. Leveraging its solid industrial foundation in machinery manufacturing and chemicals, as well as its close economic and trade ties with neighboring countries, the country's foreign exchange trading business has steadily grown, attracting both international traders and local institutions. To help investors gain a thorough understanding of the true operational status of local forex brokers, a field research team conducted a special visit to Belarus.

Field Survey Process

This time, the inspection team traveled to Belarus as planned, visiting the publicly listed PegasFX office address (Bogdanovicha Street, 138-312 Cab 1, Minsk, Belarus) to verify the broker's actual location.

The inspection team arrived at the building at 138 Bogdanovicha Street, Minsk, located in the heart of Minsk. The area is ordinary and has a moderate business atmosphere. The inspection team successfully captured a panoramic view of the building, but found no PegasFX-related signage on the exterior. After entering the building lobby and obtaining permission to remain, they carefully examined the lobby signage but found no PegasFX registration information. Furthermore, no trace of the broker's logo was found either inside or outside the building.

Subsequent attempts to reach the target floor, Room 312, and confirm the specific location of Cabin 1 were denied access. We were unable to reach the designated floor and room due to a lack of floor access. We were unable to enter the building or photograph the reception desk or its logo. Judging from the exterior, the office environment inside the building appeared average and unrelated to PegasFX. No information regarding the broker was found, further confirming that its publicly available business address did not match the information on the inspection form.

Therefore, the inspection confirmed that PegasFX does not exist at the aforementioned address.

Field Survey Summary

The surveyors visited the PegasFX as planned. They could not find the broker's company name and other information at its publicly displayed business place, indicating that the broker does not have a real business location. Investors are advised to consider this information comprehensively before making decisions.
