Reasons for Field Survey

Turkey's foreign exchange market is highly active, with no foreign exchange controls. Residents can freely hold foreign currency and remit funds in and out without restrictions. In recent years, investor interest in Turkish forex trading has grown, attracting numerous international financial institutions. To help investors accurately understand the actual performance of brokers in the region and mitigate the risks associated with information bias, the field research team conducted a field visit to Turkey.

Field Survey Process

This inspection targeted the trading company GOLDTAKAS, whose publicly registered office address is Yeşilköy Mah. Atatürk Cad. NO:10/2 İstanbul Dünya Ticaret Merkezi (IDTM) A3 Blok K:4/193 Yeşilköy 34149 Bakırköy / İstanbul - Türkiye (193, 4th Floor, Istanbul World Trade Center, Building A3, 10/2 Atatürk Street, Yeşilköy, Bakırköy District, Istanbul, Turkey, 34149). The inspection team strictly adhered to this address for precise location and verification.

After arriving at the target area, the inspection team successfully entered the park. As a well-known business complex, the overall environment is well-organized. However, since the target company was not found, the inspection team successfully captured a panoramic view of Building A3. The surveyors then entered the lobby of Building A3 without hindrance. After repeatedly searching the signage, they found no mention of GOLDTAKAS.

The surveyors then successfully reached the 4th floor and confirmed the specific address, only to discover that the room was actually the office area of another company. The sign at the door had nothing to do with GOLDTAKAS, and the people in the room stated they had never heard of the company. To further verify, the surveyors inquired with the floor security and the park property management whether GOLDTAKAS was located in Room 193 on the 4th floor of Building A3. The relevant staff clearly stated that there was no such company listed in the directory of resident companies there, and Room 193 had long been occupied by the current company, with no replacement or shared office space.

Furthermore, the surveyors found no GOLDTAKAS logo on the exterior walls of Building A3, in the internal public areas, or around Room 193. Verification confirmed that although the address indicated the World Trade Center, a well-known commercial venue, the actual address corresponded to another company and contained no related information, lacking any core evidence to prove the company's legitimate operations.

Therefore, after on-site inspection, it was confirmed that the trader GOLDTAKAS does not exist at the aforementioned address.

Field Survey Summary

The surveyors visited the GOLDTAKAS as planned. They could not find the broker's company name and other information at its publicly displayed business place, indicating that the broker does not have a real business location. Investors are advised to consider this information comprehensively before making decisions.
