The inspection team continued its survey campaign as part of the efforts to check the authenticity condition within the forex sector. For this session, the inspection team goes to Australia hoping to confirm the physical presence of a broker named Mont Pierre. 

Office

According to the company’s claimed licensing details, Mont Pierre has its head office at Level 22, 219-227 Elizabeth St, Sydney NSW 2000. The inspection team sent its survey staff there. At present, the broker’s license has been canceled. 

Survey Highlights

The surveyors successfully found the office building indicated by the provided address. 

The surveyors then entered the building. They examined the floor guide in the lobby but did not find it containing any information about Mont Pierre.

Based on the experience of previous investigations, absence from a floor guide does not necessarily mean that the firm is nonexistent. Unwilling to jump into conclusions until the facts have been proved, the surveyors took an elevator to the 22nd Floor as the address shows, and searched there carefully for their target. Nevertheless, they could not find the company.   

Conclusion

A field survey based on the company’s purported business address did not find Mont Pierre’s physical presence. The broker was licensed by ASIC as authorized representative, and the license has been canceld by now.Considering its business premises were not found, we hold a neutral attitude toward this claim. We also heard rumors that the company might have changed addresses.If that is true, then we will visit their office according to the latest address at a later date.
