Founded in 1999, ThinkMarkets is a regulated broker registered in Australia, it offers a variety of trading instruments, such as forex, indices, commodities, cryptocurrencies, stocks, ETFs, futures, and gold with leverage up to 1:500 and spread floating from 0.0 pips via ThinkTrader, Trading View, and MT4/5 platforms.

Recently, MetaQuotes, the MetaTrader 4 and 5 platform developer, announced new updates, which are AUS GLOBALs announcement background. ThinkMarkets claimed that it will impact all ThinkMarkets clients using MT4/MT5. To maintain uninterrupted access to your live and demo accounts, ThinkMarkets reminds users to update their terminal to the latest build.
The effect will start from 1 July 2025. For MT4, the builds below 1440 will no longer be supported, and for MT5, builds below 4755 will no longer be supported. If users use an outdated terminal, they will not be able to log in from this date onward.
ThinkMarkets also gives a guide to teach people how to update the MetaTrader Platform. MT4 and MT5 check for updates automatically when launched. If prompted, accept and enable automatic updates to ensure your platform stays current.
ThinkMarkets announcement implied that it is willing to depend on the popular MT4/MT5 platform. It is a good sign since most regulated brokers use MT4/MT5 as their main trading platform.
