Lockwood Review: AMF-Blacklisted Broker with Users Reporting Blocked Withdrawals
Abstract:WikiFX assigns Lockwood a score of 1.63 out of 10. The broker is blacklisted by France's AMF and faces multiple user complaints about blocked withdrawals and closed accounts.

Lockwood operates through lockwoodinv.com, but traders should know several red flags upfront. WikiFX assigns Lockwood a score of 1.63 out of 10, reflecting zero recognised regulatory licences, an active blacklisting by France's AMF, and multiple user complaints about blocked withdrawals and closed accounts.
Basic Information
Lockwood's official website was unreachable at the time of this review. Third-party sources indicate it has been down, with some suggesting the company may no longer be operational. No verified establishment year could be located through the broker's own disclosures.
Regulatory Standing: AMF Blacklisted
WikiFX records do not show any valid regulatory licence held by Lockwood. The platform does not appear authorised or registered with any recognised financial regulator.
The Autorité des Marchés Financiers (AMF), France's financial regulator, placed Lockwood on its blacklist of unauthorised companies and websites on 25 July 2019. The AMF categorises Lockwood under “unauthorised companies and websites” in the forex sector, meaning the broker was soliciting clients in France without regulatory permission. An AMF blacklisting is a formal public warning and carries significant weight.
User Complaints: Withdrawals Denied, Accounts Closed
WikiFX has received multiple user complaints against Lockwood with strikingly consistent patterns.
One of the most detailed comes from Ali Amin, an investor in Egypt. According to the complaint, Amin opened an account, generated profits, and then hit a wall when attempting to withdraw. His account manager, Abdul Salam Rizk, delayed with excuses before claiming the account was under Deutsche Bank's control , a claim Amin says the bank denied after he contacted them directly. The bank reportedly confirmed the funds were held by Lockwood. As of March 2020, Amin had not recovered his funds.

Other complaints echo the same pattern: accounts closed without explanation after months of trading, account managers going silent when withdrawals are requested, and customer support failing to respond. Several complaints reference an account manager named “Noor” or “Nour,” suggesting a recurring practice of managers who stay engaged only until clients ask for their money back.
Final Thoughts
Lockwood carries every hallmark of a broker to approach with extreme caution. It holds no recognised regulatory licence, has been formally blacklisted by the French AMF since mid-2019, and faces multiple user complaints describing a consistent pattern: accounts closed or withdrawals blocked after profits are made, with account managers who go silent when clients ask for their money.
Before depositing with any broker, verify its regulatory status independently and test withdrawals with a small amount first. Use the WikiFX App to check real-time scores, read user complaints, and confirm whether a broker holds active regulatory licences.
